Project Description
Provided permitted water treatment services of a substantial w ater treatment project at their bulk liquid distribution terminal. The petroleum-contaminated sour water, which was accumulated on-site over time, was treated over a two month period. GEM MTS applied a combination of oil water separation, chemical oxidation, filtration and carbon absorption to bring the waste water within the specification for on-site discharge. Vapor control of H2S was managed through the use of GEM MTS' custom caustic scrubbers.
