Client: Petroleum Tank Terminal Company
Location: Carson, California
Project Type: Storage Terminal Vapor Control
Project Description :
Provided on-site vapor control services to mitigate vapors within a 450,000-gallon aboveground bladder tank using a portable thermal oxidizer to comply with SCAQMD vapor control standards. The portable vapor control service allowed the tank terminal to remain in operation without interruptions and facilitate the loading of petroleum fuels into awaiting bulk carriers under routine circumstances. The number of mobile vapor combustion units was specifically chosen to meet the thermal capacity demand and the aggressive schedule caused by an unplanned upset event.
Permitting: SC AQMD
Vapor Source(s): Gasoline
