GEM Mobile Treatment Launches MSS Compliance Service-Customer Demand in Gulf Coast Prompts Comprehensive Service Offering
GEM Mobile Treatment Services, Inc. (GEM MTS) announced today the launching of customized Maintenance Startup & Shutdown (MSS) emissions management services. The service, which was developed because of increased customer demand, is a direct result of redefined Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) emissions regulations. The regulations, which become effective on January 1, 2010, require industry to control emissions related to maintenance activities. The permitting requirement greatly affects the Gulf Coast petrochemical industry.
